HAROLD CAMPING
(HERETIC & FALSE PROFIT)
Harold Camping, owner of the Family Radio Network, is one of the most notorious heretics and false prophets in America.
Harold prophesied that YAHSHUA would return on September 6, 1994. Since He did NOT return that year Camping is a false prophet. He claims he did not prophesy the return of YAHSHUA, but said it was highly probable He would. That is called an escape clause, but it doesn't work. I listened to him during 1994 talk about it and he was certain YAHSHUA would physically return on September 6. He went so far as to say no one could be saved after that date. He has since altered his prediction, but he is still a false prophet.
Camping now is prophesying the return of the Lord will take place on May 21, 2011. He claims that "Christians" will be raptured on that day and the wicked will remain to endure five months of tribulation. Then on October 21, YAHSHUA will return to slaughter the wicked who remain alive and establish His eternal kingdom. Camping denies a literal Millennial Kingdom. Once again Heretic Camping will be shown to be a false prophet when nothing happens on May 21 or October 21 of 2011.
Harold teaches myriad false doctrines with his most dangerous false doctrine being that of another gospel. He teaches a false gospel and according to Thee Infallible, Holy Word of YAHWEH Elohim he is anathema (Gal. 1.6-9).
I will be updating this on a regular basis. My refutation of his false doctrines are in bold.
Here are some of the false doctrines Camping teaches:
A person cannot be saved at a specific moment in time, but must beg YAHWEH to save him and hope that He does.
A person is saved by believing in YAHSHUA IMMANUEL YAHWEH of Nazareth the Mashiyach as the Scriptures declare (Acts 16.30). The Philippian jailer believed and was immediately saved and baptized (Acts 16.30-33). He didn't have to beg YAHWEH to save him for days, weeks, months or years. Salvation is a one time event. You do NOT have to beg YAHWEH to save you over a long period of time.
Camping is preaching a false gospel and he will suffer the results of doing so (Gal. 1.6,9)!
YAHSHUA is the archangel Michael.
This is a doctrine that some cults teach and that is clearly un-Scriptural. There is NO passage that hints that this is so and the Scriptures make it PERFECTLY clear that Michael is one of three archangels created by YAHWEH Elohim. The other archangels are Gabriel and the devil.
Hell and the Lake of Fire are symbolic of being under the wrath of YAHWEH and they are NOT real places where the wicked will be tortured with fire, burning sulfur, burning coals, burning wind, unquenchable thirst and other horrors through all eternity.
For absolute proof that Hell and the Lake of Fire are real places where the wicked will be tortured through all eternity go to -- dov-hell.htm
The dead sleep until they are judged. (Camping has changed his position on this. He now teaches that when the wicked die they are annihilated out of existence and they are not judged at the Great White Throne Judgment.
When people die in their sins they go straight to Hell where they are tortured with real fire, unquenchable thirst and other horrors until they are judged for their sins and then they are cast into the Lake of Fire where they will be tortured through all eternity with fire, burning sulfur, burning coals, burning wind, unquenchable thirst and other horrors! dov-hell.htm
Virtually all prophecy passages are symbolic and are not to be understood literally.
The truth is that the vast majority of prophetic passages are to be understood literally and they will be fulfilled exactly as written. The only rule for understanding Scripture is: "Take everything literally, in context, unless the Scriptures say it is symbolic or unless it is physically impossible for it to be or to take place."
There is no Rapture! Believers are not raptured to meet YAHSHUA in the air prior to His Second Advent. (He now, 2010, teaches a Rapture. He says it will come on May 21, 2011.)
The doctrine of a rapture prior to the Second Advent of YAHSHUA is indisputable! The only dispute about it is when it will take place. The Scriptures make it perfectly clear that there will be a Rapture (I Cor. 15.51-53; I Thess. 4.16,17; 2 Thess. 2.1-3). dov-eschat.htm
