Pat has lost it! Even if he doesn't bet he is giving the impression that he condones horse racing. Even though it is not a sin, most "Christians" consider betting to be wrong. Pat should forget about imitating his secular billionaire friends and try to set an example.
Robertson Kills Oil Refinery Deal
Television evangelist and businessman Pat Robertson has abandoned plans to reopen an oil refinery on a 100-acre site in this Los Angeles suburb.
Robertson has decided to build a business park instead. Environmental groups had opposed the plan and city officials have been working with Robertson's company, CENCO Refining, for several months to explore alternatives. The refinery closed in 1995. "CENCO will work with the city and the development community to do a mixed-use business park development in three phases," said City Manager Fred Latham. There is nothing wrong for a true believer in YAHSHUA IMMANUEL YAHWEH of Nazareth the Mashiyach to make money, but shouldn't a wealthy believer use his money to further the Gospel and work of the Lord? Is Pat using his billions of dollars to spread the Gospel or is he hoarding it to build a personal empire?
I have not seen his books, but I would love to. If Pat Robertson were a true believer who is walking in the HOLY SPIRIT (Gal. 5.16,25) he would make ALL of his business/religious dealings and books available to the world! Why would any true believer hide his books?
I accuse Robertson of using donations given to him to spread the Gospel for his personal profit. He built a billion dollar satellite empire with donations and sold part of it (Family Channel) to Ted Turner -- an infidel who blasphemes YAHWEH Elohim every chance he gets. As far as I know Robertson has used that money to build his personal empire -- NOT to spread the Gospel! If I am wrong I want someone to correct me. Until then I accuse Pat Robertson of being a moneymongering, religious con-artist!
I must note that Robertson is a charismatic who teaches myriad false doctrines. He also pretends that YAHWEH Elohim give him specific knowledge of physical ailments of his viewers and claims that YAHWEH Elohim will heal them! He has NEVER proved that anyone has been divinely healed! This practice is a religious scam designed to compel his viewers to give him their hard-earned money. This scam as well as other scams he conducts and scams that thousands of other religious con-artists practice should be illegal and they should be prosecuted!
